Steps to germinate lemon seeds:

1. Preparation and Soaking:

Soak in water: Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24-48 hours to soften their outer coating.

2. Planting:

Prepare the soil: Use a small pot or container filled with well-draining soil.

Plant the seeds: Plant the soaked seeds about half an inch deep in the soil.

Water the soil: Water the soil thoroughly, keeping it moist but not soggy.

Cover the pot: Cover the pot with plastic to retain moisture until the seeds germinate.

Create ventilation: Make a few small holes in the plastic cover for air circulation.

3. Germination:

Warm location: Place the pot in a warm location (around 70°F or 21°C).

Monitor moisture: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.

Light is not essential: Light is not essential during the germination phase.

Germination time: Germination can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month.

4. After Germination:

Remove the cover: Once the seeds germinate, remove the plastic cover and move the pot to a location with bright, indirect sunlight.

Watering: Continue to water the seedlings, but be careful not to overwater.

Sunlight: Provide at least 6-8 hours of sunlight daily for healthy growth.
